Meet Isabel!

My Story

Hi there! I'm Isabel, but you can call me Isa. I was born and raised in Reseda, right in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. If I had to sum up my personality in three words, I’d say I’m silly, caring, and loving—qualities that truly shine through in my work with dogs.

Being an only child, I was fortunate to grow up with dogs, and caring for them became second nature to me. Over the years, I've built a loyal clientele, thanks to the trust and care I provide.

My journey into professional dog walking began when I was a personal assistant, entrusted with the care of my boss's dog, Copilot, who had Addison’s Disease. My responsibility for his medication and care, along with managing his reactivity on walks, helped me develop a deep bond with him, and I realized how much I loved and excelled at caring for animals. It gave me immense pride to know I provided peace of mind to his owner, and it inspired me to continue offering that same peace of mind to others.

I offer my dog walking services throughout the San Fernando Valley, including Burbank, Glendale, and Hollywood Hills. I especially enjoy walking in residential neighborhoods off of Mulholland Drive and other quiet, scenic areas that provide plenty of interesting sights and smells for dogs to explore. Whether it’s the tranquil neighborhoods of the Valley or the more secluded trails in the hills, I make sure each walk is enjoyable and enriching for your furry friend.

Recently, I lost my beloved Siberian Husky, Blue, who was the sweetest and most friendly dog I’ve ever had. His memory lives on in my work, as I continue to honor the joy and love he brought into my life. Now, I share my home with two playful and curious cats, Mia and Frankie, who remind me daily of the deep bond we share with our pets. I treat every pet I care for as a cherished member of their family, providing them with the love and attention they deserve.

The best part of my day is seeing the happiness and excitement in the dogs I care for, whether it's during a walk, a play session, or simply spending quality time together. I build strong bonds with the dogs I work with by going at their pace, respecting their comfort levels, and giving them the attention they need to feel safe and loved. Whether it’s through gentle pets, treats, or simply sitting together, I’m dedicated to making each dog feel like they’re in their second home.

What sets me apart as a dog walker is my extensive experience in caring for pets, including managing rigorous feeding schedules, administering medication, and handling reactive dogs. I’m also a weightlifter, so I’m well-equipped to handle medium to large dogs with confidence. I take a cautious, informed approach, ensuring that I have all the necessary details from the owner to provide the best possible care.

As a dedicated dog lover, I often find myself giving nicknames to the pets I care for—don’t be surprised if your dog ends up with a cute new moniker! One of my favorite memories is of my adventures with Blue, whether we were exploring Mulholland Dog Park or cruising down PCH with the wind in our hair. Those moments of joy and companionship are what I strive to bring to every dog I work with.
